Back in the tank

Elder Hanson and Elder Chacon
Familia y Amigos,

Hope you all had a good week, not much happened here, there wasn’t a lot of rain so that was nice!

On Tuesday I was able to work in my area and we got one of our baptismal interviews done.  It was kind of a jarron, but he passed so that was all good!  We contacted some people, didn’t find a ton but it was a good day.

On Wednesday I went to Monte Fresco to do some divisions.  It is an area in the zone that hasn’t been doing too hot so I was able to go and work with the elders there.  It was overall a good day, we were able to put a couple fechas and find some people to teach.  I also go to know their possibility for the week, and all went well.  Elder Copeland also left in the morning leaving me and Elder Heileson alone here hahah.

Thursday I was back in the area looking for people to teach, not too successful.

Friday we had district meeting and President Russell and Sister Russell showed up. That was a surprise, but everything went good.  A convert invited us over to eat, and later that day we were able to find some awesome people.  All the people we found on Friday went to church, which was great to see. Later in the night we had a ward activity, where we watched Meet the Mormons. We had some investigators show up, so that was cool.  We left the Capilla and Elder Alcerro called me and said he wanted to go visit some of the possibilities that we had so we went and animated a couple people.

Saturday was a little stressful, we didn’t know if our baptism was going to pull through, but we had the faith it was going to happen.  We showed up to the house to take the whole family and they were ready.  It all turned out great, we had a lot of support from the members.

Sunday we had a great turn out at church, and everyone got confirmed.  That’s pretty much all that happened. This was a pretty boring letter, sorry!

Found a good scripture this week in personal study, here it is Alma 13: 27-28

27 And now, my brethren, I wish from the inmost part of my heart, yea, with great anxiety even unto pain, that ye would hearken unto my words, and cast off your sins, and not procrastinate the day of your repentance;
28 But that ye would humble yourselves before the Lord, and call on his holy name, and watch and pray continually, that ye may not be tempted above that which ye can bear, and thus be led by the Holy Spirit, becoming humble, meek, submissive, patient, full of love and all long-suffering;

Have a great week!
